Pittosporum variegatum (Variegated Pittosporum)

CHARACTERISTICS/BOTANICAL FEATURES

Pittosporum is a genus of plants of Pittosporaceae family, native to Africa, Asia, Australia and the Pacific Islands. They are arboreal or shrub-like plants that can reach several meters in height. Its small green berries are inedible. In Italy it is grown as a ornamental plant and hedgerows especially sea front in the South, in Sardinia, and in Sicily.
